Let the whole world know this: THE ICE CREAM SHOP IS OFFICIALLY CLOSED! According to his new 2020 Bouyon, singer of the 2013 hit song ‘IceCream Man’, Colton T, is a ‘ONE WOMAN MAN’.
The song bounces to a catchy Bouyon beat and based on a stern announcement and warning that you’ll find Colton T in an unbreakable duo only with his woman (whoever that is 👀) this carnival season. It starts in a slow tempo to a melodious harmony before upping the momentum, transitioning into an irrefutably tempting ballad. It is virtually impossible to take notice of the vocal harmony that swells the entire song, something that is not very common among Bouyon songs released thus far for 2020.
You’ll soon realize (if you haven’t already) that a BouyonNation Review will always include deeper analysis for consideration even while we rock to the tune of Dominica’s finest. Colton, in this song, may come off as protective of his proverbial woman and seriously atypical based on feting traditions. Indeed, men usually pride themselves in there portability from one woman to the next while reveling. Of course, nothing to serious…no strings attached. However, a little deeper than that is a direct challenge to the culture of polygamy that seems to personify the ideal man in our society. Well guess what, Colton eh in that!
Dear Colton T,
All eyes will be on you this carnival for two reasons:
- We want to know if your song is true; if the ice cream truck is really closed for business; and
- We want to know is which woman you have so!
